Day off from work due to winter weather

Good Evening,

Today while I was home, due to bad winter weather, I decided to work on a couple of small crochet items. I made a mesh heart and a small star. The mesh heart took me fifteen minutes to make and the small star took me ten minutes. I love watching The Art of Crochet by Thersea because the instructions on the video are easy to follow and most of her videos have written patterns.

I will post the pictures of the items I crocheted later.

Here is an easy crochet pattern for making a small heart. Art of Crochet by Teresea also has a pattern for a large crochet heart, crochet valentine Puffy heart, and a easy crochet heart.

The small heart took me ten minutes to make, without adding an edging. The large crochet heart took me twenty minutes to make and the easy one took me fifteen minutes.

Sorry it has been a while since I posted. Over the last couple of weeks I have crocheted a hat, cap, and a square.

The cap with brim took me four hours to complete from start to finish. I used a M13 hook which made the cap a little smaller, but I can wear it and so can an older girl.

On the beanie hat it took me about five hours to make.

The crochet square took me five to six hours to complete. The square was a little challenging. The pattern for the square came from the book 101 Crochet Squares by Jean Leinhauser

Sorry about posting

Hi everyone,

Sorry it has been a while since I posted. I have been busy the last couple of weeks and taking care of my self. During the last couple of weeks I have worked om and finished some crochet projects. Two of the crochets projects I finished in one day where two different versions of a baby bib. I will post the pictures of the baby bibs later on during the week or it might even be this weekend.

I am still working on the baby afghan, I did not realize how much time it was going to take to finish it. My goal is to finish the baby afghan by the end of September.

I am also working on a messenger bag that uses granny squares.

I started back at work today, so I will not be posting much during the week. I will do most of my posting on the weekend. I did have a great day, I was able to get back in the pool after not being able to for a week and a half.

My first dish cloth

Hi everyone,

For my first dishcloth I used Peaches & Creme 4 ply worsted weight 100% cotton yarn and a size H hook by Boyle. I got the dishcloth pattern off the back of the label. I used color #178 Potpourri.The main part of the dish cloth I made without any problems, the edging is where I had some problems I did add a couple of extra stitches.

My first magic pot holder

Sorry it has been a while since I posted anything. I have been busy helping and taking care of family members. I finally finished my first pot holder I started the weekend before last.
